About

Before serving as Chief of Staff Porter was the National Mobilization Facilitator for the Phillies campaign.
In 2006, Porter started attending AIB College of Business in Des Moines, Iowa. While in Des Moines, Porter got involved in the political process for the first time since 2003 when he helped in a fight against forced small consolidation at only 15 years old. In April of 2007, Porter was elected as an At-Large Representative for the Libertarian Party of Iowa.
In May of 2008, Porter graduated AIB with an Associate in Applied Science Degree in Business administration, and was elected to the Libertarian National Committee as an Alternate to Region 6.
In June of 2008, Porter became the Business Manager for the Saint Joseph Telegraph located in Saint Joseph, Missouri.
Between July and November Porter was the Iowa Coordinator for the Bob Barr 2008 Presidential campaign. The Iowa campaign received more votes and a higher percentage, in Iowa, than any Libertarian Presidential campaign since 1980.
